My GIS portfolio brings together a collection of projects that represent my growth and experience throughout the GIS graduate certificate program. Each project in my portfolio shows a different skill set, including cartography, spatial analysis, Python scripting, ModelBuilder workflows, and LiDAR processing. Putting this portfolio together gave me the opportunity to step back and really see how much I have learned and how my work has progressed over time.

Creating this portfolio helped me connect what I learned in class to real world GIS applications. It also showed me how important clear map design, proper data organization, and well documented workflows are for professional quality projects. Looking through my projects side by side helped build my confidence and better prepare me for entering the GIS workforce.
As a graduate student, I also completed an additional component for this assignment that required recording an audio interview style presentation. I selected Question 1, which focuses on handling a challenging situation, and Question 5, which highlights my favorite project from my portfolio. These responses allowed me to explain my problem solving skills and showcase the project I am most proud of in more detail. The audio presentation is link:

Overall, building this portfolio was one of the most rewarding parts of my coursework. It helped me reflect on my progress, organize my work for potential employers, and prepare for future interviews. I plan to continue adding new projects as I gain more experience through my internship and future GIS work.
