Module 1: ArcGIS Pro Overview- Orientation

This week in Intro to GIS we did a very simple lab that introduced us to the basics of what we will be learning this semester and familiarizing ourselves with the software. We learned how to set up our data and connect it to ArcMaps. Then, we learned how to add our data to the map frame and  change the symbology so that it does not look crazy and can be understood. The cities are symbolized by a black circle and the populations of the countries are colored based on population from 2007. Finally, we learned how to create and export our map into a picture and add it here. This lab was very simple, but very important to understanding the basics before adding more complex components.
